Yourdooz.com was founded in 2007 by current owner Ian Chilvers

Ian Chilvers did his first disco back in 1988 aged 16, since then hes gone on to have a successful broadcasting career in the East Midlands presenting shows on 106 Century Fm (now heart) Trent FM and Smooth Radio. From those early days in 1988 Ian continued his DJ hobby and worked at many town centre bars throughout Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, in the 90s Ian went to work as a DJ in Kassioppi in Corfu, more recently Ian worked for the Barracuda Group and was the launch DJ for Barracuda Bar in Chesterfield and Nuneaton, he also worked for the branch in Burton on Trent. In 2006 Ian had an idea to create a party business that would provide services from one place, after 12 months it was ready and in November 2007 Yourdooz.com was launched!

Ians vision was to create a party services company that would be different to the many agencies and one man bands in the market.

The problem with having a party was who does the disco? Where do I get nice balloons? Who can I trust etc etc.
Ian decided that it was time to do something with his 18 years experience in parties and bring the whole tired process up to date! He wanted discos that sounded great and looked great but also DJs who you could hear clearly and wouldn’t turn up in jeans and T-shirt, he wanted to have high standards throughout the whole business and give clients the choice of something different. so welcome to YOURDOOZ.COM

First of all thank you for coming to our website; I hope you find everything you were looking for.Over the years Id seen mobile discos get a really bad name, images of old worn equipment, bulbs in boxes, homemade speakers, and DJs who were better suited to a fairground ride than your big day! So I took out a huge loan, bought some top notch speakers and lighting and tried to bend the trend of the dodgy disco! We're in our 3rd year now and we've added the other services Photography, Fireworks, Balloon decorations and we can arrange singers for you too! The services (excluding singers) are all provided by yourdooz.com we dont farm anything out to 3rd parties, that way I can still control the quality of the end product.I will stop rattling on now lol but do get in touch if you would like to know more about our services or even if you fancy working for yourdooz.com

We have full public liability insurance (certificate available on request)

We support the music industry and artists and hold a current Pro-Dub Licence (a legal requirement to transfer music to pc)
